Nakshtrakuthu is a stunning water fall in Mankulam Range. It is situated 3 Km away from Viripara. Nakshathrakuth caves ( tiger cave )is on the way to Nakshathrakuth waterfall. CHENKULAM DAM
Chenkulam Dam is a gravity dam located on the Muthirapuzha river The Chenkulam Project was intended to use the tailrace water of the Pallivasal project. The dam is constructed of masonry. The power house is situated at Vellathooval in Devikulam taluk. The water collected is conveyed through a penstock pipe to the Chenkulam powerhouse in Vellathooval, which generates 51.2 MW of electricity using four 12.8 MW turbines.
KOLUKKUMALAI
Kolukkumalai is situated at an elevation of about 7,130 feet (2,170 meters) above sea level, making it one of the highest tea plantations in the world. The tea plantations at Kolukkumalai are known for their unique location at high altitudes, resulting in tea leaves with distinctive flavors and aromas.
